Would you be Hypnotized?

 About Hypnosis

Hypnosis is the vehicle that takes a message from your conscious to your subconscious mind. It is a relaxing, naturally occurring state of mind which happens to us every day. What driver has never experienced highway hypnosis? The conscious mind loses a portion of time, while somehow the subconscious mind navigates our car along the highway. Who has never blanked out while watching TV? So the hypnotic state is not foreign to us.

During hypnosis direct communication is established between your conscious and subconscious mind. In a hypnotic trance our minds and bodies are able to accept change much more readily. Hypnosis releases us from our limiting beliefs and creates a mental environment or state of mind that enables us to accept new more empowering beliefs. Specific thoughts or suggestions are lodged in the subconscious mind where they can be propelled toward a desired goal or change in behavior in a postive, permanent way. Any suggestions must be acceptable to the person being hypnotized, in order to be effective. In short, hypnosis cannot make you do anything that you do not want to do.

Science is only now beginning to understand the awesome power the subconscious mind wields. It wasn’t until 1958 that the American Medical Association recognized hypnosis as a valid therapeutic tool. The subconscious mind is the best learning machine that has ever existed. If instructed properly, healthier more productive patterns, ideas, beliefs, attitudes and actions will result.

Hypnosis has been successful in the treatment of fears, phobias, depression, amnesia, weight loss, pain management, stress relief, smoking cessation, sleep management, irritable bowel syndrome, sports improvement, relief from menopause symptoms, career and goal attainment, the elimination of negative habits as well as behavior modification.
